For the sixth year in a row, Dalmaland, in cooperation with the Zadar County Tourist Board and the Biograd na Moru City Tourist Board, is bringing the Dalmatian Traditional Games - a unique event that brings back the spirit of bygone times and offers an unforgettable experience for all generations. Zadar County is the destination of 2026.
At a time when children are increasingly playing outdoor games, this event provides an opportunity to remember the beauty of play, laughter and competition in the fresh air. From tug-of-war to sack racing, from border guard games to cartwheels, from balloon competitions to pumpkin throwing, the Dalmatian Traditional Games will give you the opportunity to have fun the way generations before us did.
Dalmaland has prepared special T-shirts as a souvenir for all participants, and attractive prizes for the winners.

14.00 Diving competition - Show off your diving skills
- 15:30 Foam party - Fun in clous of foam for all ages - ideal for cooling down and lots of laughter!
- 17:00 Dalmatian traditional games
Try out old games that were once a part of everyday life in Dalmatian backyards:
Tug of war - a game designed for a large number of participants, where teams compete in strength by pulling a rope over a target mark. Categories: boys and boys, girls and girls, and "moms vs. dads".
Jumping in a sack - a competition in fast jumping in jute sacks from the start to the finish.
Graničari - a dynamic game in which opposing teams throw a ball and throw players off the field.
Karijola - a relay race in which one player "pushes" the other like a karijola.
Na balun - a competition in precise shooting of a balun (ball) into a certain part of the goal.
Pivci – an ancient game in which competitors hop on one leg, trying to snatch the opponent's scarf or push him out of the circle.
